ESCANABA - Spring may be over for now but it's come some thinking about baseball.

According to our media partners at the Radio Results Network, the Escanaba High School Baseball team is holding its annual craft sale Saturday at the high school commons.

Escanaba senior center fielder Courage Krueger spoke with RRN and said, “We have like 125 crafters that come out. They sell their homemade goods and woodworks and soaps, stuff like that. There’s going to be a concession, a 50/50, and also a bake sale there.”

The event runs from 9 until 4 on Saturday and is a major fundraiser for the Eskymo varsity baseball team, which is self-funded and gets no money from the district. The money helps fund equipment, jerseys, and transportation to away games.
