MICHIGAN -- The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services in collaboration with the Michigan Committee on Juvenile Justice, has issued a Request for Proposal to support juveniles and the juvenile justice system.

Funds from this grant opportunity are intended to support expansion of services for youth ages ten years old to 17 years old in four priority areas identified by the Committee on Juvenile Justice. The four priority areas are data, diversion, drug/mental health courts, and school justice.

Eligible applicants for this grant opportunity must be local units of government – courts, law enforcement agencies, county prosecutors – that work with or come in contact with juveniles that are at risk for, or are already involved in, the court system in the State of Michigan.
