MARQUETTE -- People packed the Marquette Regional History Center tonight to hear about ghosts.

A local author talked about his new book. It's called "Haunted Marquette: Ghost Stories from the Queen City."

The book features about 40 places that are allegedly haunted like the old orphanage, Park Cemetery and the Peter White Public Library.

The author says he tried to separate fact from fiction.

Tyler Tichelaar is the author. He says, "A lot of the places that are haunted in the stories I found out were about people that were not well known. They had very interesting lives regardless and I think they deserve to have their stories told."

The book is available at the Marquette Regional History Center, Snowbound Books and Book World.

Plus, you can order it on Amazon.
