MARQUETTE, MI - Marquette Senior High School faculty and supporters braved the cold weather Friday afternoon as the school held an introductory press conference for their new Athletic Director Alex Tiseo.

Tiseo most recently served as Associate Athletics Director for Northern Michigan University under Forest Karr.

He's a graduate of both M.S.H.S. and Michigan Tech where he played football and earned his degree in business administration.

Tiseo says he's excited to be back at his alma mater, a place where his journey in athletics began.

Alex Tiseo, the Athletic Director at MSHS said, "My whole desire to participate at the next level athletically, as well as pursue a career in athletics was cultivated here at MSHS. So, it means everything to me to come back and be able to lead the athletics programs at my alma mater.  It's something I'm really passionate about and something I will bring a very high level of commitment and dedication to make sure we're doing things the right way. Engaging the local community, engaging the local business to make sure that everyone else has that same level of passion and commitment for Marquette Senior High School athletics."
