ABOUT ME:
Jake is a Marquette native who loves everything about the Upper Peninsula. He stayed close to home and decided to attend Northern Michigan University where he studied Media Production & New Technology and Business.
Jake’s time in television began while he was attending college at NMU. While there, Jake completed an internship with the university’s local TV station and fell in love with the behind the scenes aspect of the industry.
After graduating, Jake started at WJMN as a part-time Production Assistant. He then moved to a full-time photographer, Spent time as a reporter, and then took over as the Sports Director.
He has a beautiful daughter named Preslee who he loves very much.
He likes to stay active and spends a lot of time outdoors. He also can binge watch TV shows with the best of them.
