ASHWAUBENON (WFRV) — Last year an Ashwaubenon couple completed a 4,300 mile bicycle ride across the country. Starting Monday morning, they are leaving on another ride — this time across Wisconsin.
This summer, Tracy and Peter Flucke are going on two rides. One is approximately 600 miles round trip from Green Bay to Prairie du Chien. The ride will highlight history and places of interest along the way.
Previously, the Flucke’s work has been focused on creating a water trail for kayaking and canoeing, but are partnering with the organization WE BIKE, etc. for this ride. They intend to map a route and see how accommodating sites are along the way.
