Jake Durant is a Northern Michigan University graduate with a degree in Media Production & New Technology and minor in Business Management.
He was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula and is a proud Yooper.
Jake realized his love for T.V. while interning with Public Eye News at N.M.U. and at WNMU-TV13 where he helped with many of the universities local productions.
Jake joined Local 3 as a production assistant, eventually working his way into the newsroom and to the head of the sports department.
During his free time he likes to stay active, if he’s not running around chasing his daughter you can find him playing sports, or spending time in the gym.
