Suspect arrested in credit card fraud scheme

Kyle William Genewick, a 26 year-old Gladstone resident, was arrested today as a result of a month-long credit card fraud investigation.

The investigation began with the discovery of a stolen credit card being used at businesses in Marquette, Gwinn, Gladstone and Escanaba.

Two felony arrest warrants were authorized for Genewick, for Larceny in a Building and Transaction Device-Stealing/Retaining without Consent.

His bond was set at 10% of $10,000 on each charge. He is currently lodged at the Marquette County Jail.
