There’s a chance for residents to dress up, put on a hat and drink tea! A tea party and fashion show will highlight wedding gowns at the Forsyth Township Public Library’s “I Do” Tea Party.

Vintage wedding gowns belonging to local women will be shown off by high school students in a fashion show. The event will also feature door prizes, a raffle of the centerpieces, prize for the best hat and a “Guess Who?” featuring wedding pictures of long-time Forsyth Township residents.

Attendees will also learn about tea and its history and traditions from Hannah, with Hannah’s Tea Time in Negaunee.

If you’d like to share a wedding gown or a wedding picture to be put on a bulletin board and displayed that day, call Fran at 906-346-2117.

Tickets cost $20 and are available for purchase at the Forsyth Township Public Library, or from any board or committee member.

Tea time will be Saturday, October 10, from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at the Clubhouse in Gwinn.
