MARQUETTE — The Marquette Regional History Center is holding their 7th annual Museum After Dark this Saturday.
The event allows people of all ages to solve clues and riddles while also learning local history. There is a scavenger hunt and prizes at the end for the winners. You will also find historical re-enactors telling their stories.
Betsy Rutz, Museum Educator, Marquette Regional History Center, explains, “It’s one of the only times to really see the museum exhibits after dark and to come in late at night, it starts at 7pm, and really feel like you’ve got a special pass to the museum after dark. So our characters are here in the museum and they are here to surprise you, give you clues and help you on your way solving museum mysteries.”
Doors open on Saturday at 7pm. Tickets are $9 for ages 18 and under, which inclues prizes that the kids will go home with, and $5 for adults. It is recommended that you buy your tickets ahead of time but they will be available at the door as well.
Please call 906-226-3571 to purchase tickets.
