OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – An accident report on the fatal crane collapse in Oshkosh has just been released.

The crane under the Lake Butte des Morts bridge was carrying a 52-ton beam being to the US 41 girder at the time.

Witness statements show that the crane may have been moving the beam too quickly or the crane was being adjusted while it was moving the beam.

The accident earlier this month, killed Joseph Bidler of Green Bay. He was employed with Spancrete, Inc. The crane operator was seriously injured, that person is Martin DeRidder of Plymouth. He was working with Lunda Construction.

OSHA has six months to complete their investigation.
