WAUPACA COUNTY (WFRV) — An alleged heroin dealer who made over 600 heroin transactions turned himself into the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office.
Joshua Parker, 34, turned himself into law enforcement Wednesday. He is charged with manufacture/delivery of heroin, possession of narcotic drugs, and possession of a controlled substance.
The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation began in April 2014. Parker allegedly delivered heroin to law enforcement, gave heroin to a Waupaca man who then overdosed on the drug, and was in possession of illegally obtained prescription medication.
Further investigation revealed Parker conducted over 600 heroin transactions, including six to seven transactions a day, from late February-October 2014.
Parker appeared in court Wednesday and is in jail on a $25,000 cash bond.
Police say more arrests are expected.
