Four men are in police custody – one for armed robbery – after a stand-off Thursday in Ishpeming Township.

The Marquette Police Department assisted the Ishpeming Police Department in arresting 28-year-old Kirk Michael Schultz of Ishpeming on an arrest warrant for Armed Robbery in connection with an incident that occurred March 12 in the 500 block of North Fourth Street in Marquette.

An investigation by Ishpeming and Marquette Police, along with the Marquette County Sheriff’s Department and Negaunee Police Department, helped determine that Schultz was at the Ishpeming Township location on the 2100 block of Prairie Avenue.

After a search warrant was issued, police entered the home and arrested Schultz without incident, according to a press release from Detective Captain Michael Kohler from the Marquette Police Department.

Schultz was lodged in the Marquette County Jail.

The investigation into the Schultz case also resulted in the arrest of three other suspects at the Ishpeming Township home.  They have been identified  as 21-year-old Daniel Scott Ayotte, 21-year-old Bobbie Joe Weymouth and 19-year-old Brandon William Beaman.
