BARAGA COUNTY, Mich. (WJMN) — Baraga County is being recognized for its energy savings.
According to the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy, Baraga County invested $1.47 million to upgrade lighting, boilers, energy-efficient windows, and other things.
This resulted in an estimated annual savings of almost $13,881.
Baraga County received a 2019 Leadership in Energy Efficiency Award.
