Blanketing Brown County Drive

News
ALLOUEZ, Wis. (WFRV) – In an effort to keep low-income families warm this winter, northeast Wisconsin is being asked to blanket Brown County.

Brown County United Way, and the Greater Green Bay Labor Council, kicked off the event today at the Allouez Fire Station. Anyone can donate new, and gently used, blankets at Brown County libraries, Green Bay Metro Fire Stations, and Shopko stores.

The blankets will then be given to area shelters, and agencies to distribute.

Last year, there were more that 2,000 blankets collected.

The Blanketing Brown County Drive runs through January 28th. You can find a complete list of public donation sites on Facebook right here.
