CHOCOLAY TOWNSHIP — The Chocolay Township Police Department responded to a two vehicle crash on US 41 near Green Garden Road this morning just before nine.

A 2001 pickup truck driven by a 24-year-old Skandia man crossed the center line into the path of a south bound pickup truck driven by a 68-year-old Marquette man.

Both drivers and passengers were transported to UPHS-Marquette for treatment of what appear to be non-threatening life injuries.

Snow covered roads and white out conditions were a factor. The Skandia man was cited for driving left to center.

Assisting at the scene was Chocolay Township Fire and Rescue, UPHS EMS, Marquette County Sheriff Department and Michigan State Police.
