HOUGHTON– Papa Murphy’s ‘Take N’ Bake’ pizza is now open for business in Houghton and is the fourth to open in the Upper Peninsula. Other locations are in Escanaba, Iron Mountain and Marquette.
Michelle O’Connor, Owner says, “What we’re seeing is a lot of people who come from the outlining areas like in Houghton. You know people are coming into town from Chassell and Calumet, Hancock. They can’t necessarily get a pizza home and it still be fresh so they like the idea of something home to their family and being able to cook it when they’re ready.”
O’Connor goes on to say that they also market towards busy families who need a quick, restaurant quality dinner fix.
