BROWN COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) – According to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office a man is behind bars, accused of sexually assaulting a woman.

In a media release they say the victim from the Green Bay area was searching Craigslist for a part time babysitting job.

She responded to an ad for a woman searching for a babysitter to take care of her twin girls.

The victim was communicating with the person in the ad through email when she was asked to meet for an interview for the job.

The victim agreed to meet for an interview and was asked to meet at 2088 Memorial Drive apartment 211 in the Village of Howard.

The victim arrived at that location and was allegedly met by 24 year old male Tyler Olson.

Once the woman was inside the apartment she says Mr. Olson pulled a knife out and sexually assaulted her.

Deputies say after the sexual assault, Olson continued to threaten the victim with the knife and forced her to drive him, in her vehicle, to an unknown location.

The vehicle ran out of gas on southbound I43 just north of Mason Street.

At approximately 1:07 AM an Officer from the Green Bay Police Department located the victim and Olson walking down the off ramp near Mason Street.

An officer from the Green Bay Police Department was attempting to assist the victim and Olson when the victim was able to ask the officer for help.

Olson attempted to flee the officer on foot but was apprehended a short time later by the Green Bay Police Department.

Tyler S. Olson was incarcerated in the Brown County Jail on charges of 1st degree sexual assault and false imprisonment.
