SAWYER – It’s never too early to get educated on preventative health care.
The Gwinn Head Start toured the Upper Great Lakes Sawyer Family Health Center Today. Students learned about the medical and dental clinics. Plus, presentations were given about proper hand washing and dental care. It helps give the kids a head start on good health care.
Elise Bur. the Administrative Director for Upper Great Lakes Family Heath Center says, “We feel it’s extremely important for kids to actually have interaction with the medial and dental professionals at a young age so that we can incorporate healthy oral hygiene habits for the children.”
The students were also given a presentation by Forsyth Township police on how to know when you’re in danger and when to call 911.
