‘Barley’s Angels’ makes its way to the U.P.

Barley’s Angels U.P. is the Upper Peninsula’s chapter of the international women’s group Barley’s Angels.The local chapter held their kick-off tour tonight for their first ever beer appreciation event at the Ore Dock Brewing Company.

The evening included a beer sampling session as well as a tour of the brewing facility.

Kylie Bunting, Founder of Barley’s Angels U.P. says, “It’s an opportunity for women to get together and whether you are a seasoned craft beer drinker or you’ve never tasted craft beer before it’s just an opportunity to get together with other women and network, chat and make friends. And also learn about the craft beer industry and to learn to appreciate the craft beer that we have in the Upper Peninsula.”

Barley’s Angels U.P. hosts quarterly events at breweries all across the Upper Peninsula. 
The next event is slated for June 15th at Cognition Brewery in Ishpeming with a stop at Barrel and Beam in Marquette. It’s free to join, so just show up and you’re officially a Barley’s Angel.
