APPLETON, Wi–(WFRV) Four men have been charged with using a computer to solicit sex with a minor.The men were charged as a result of a large scale sting operation being conducted nationwide.22-year-old Ryan Gidlof of Neenah, 27-year-old Wyn Adkins of Menasha, 25-year-old Neil Frank of Kimberly, and 26-year-old Michael Krzinski of Racine were taken into custody late last week on charges of using a computer to facilitate sex with a child.The sting operation is a joint venture with Perverted Justice Foundation. Perverted Justice works with local police to nab alleged online predators by posing as underage girls in chat rooms. They wait for suspects to start sexual conversations or to arrange to meet in real time.Sgt. Pat DeWall says these four men were not alone. “We actually had a total of 72 individuals that identified themselves as adult males, initiated in sexual conversation with the subjects from Perverted Justice,” he said.DeWall says that they have four or five other people that they will be following up.Bond for all four suspects in custody is set at $10,000 in cash. Gidlof, Frank and Adkins will be back in court Oct. 21st. However, Krezinski has no court date set as of yet.
