Abram Johnson of Foster City was diagnosed with brain cancer before he turned a year old. A family member tells Local 3 that due to the type of cancer it is, he was growing so rapidly. that he was about the size of a three year old.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help the family with expenses related to his medical bills and transportation back and forth from the U.P. to Ann Arbor for his treatments. While he’s in the hospital, his parents can stay there with him or at Ronald McDonald House. But when Abram is released from the hospital, and recovering from chemotheraphy treatments, the family has the costly expense of housing.
Zion Lutheran Church is having a benefit on Saturday, March 2, at the Felch Community Center, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Central Time.)
It will be a chili lunch, with prizes and possibly some entertainment by Abram’s siblings.
