Three sisters were located by the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue after they got lost while hiking on Hogsback Mountain.
Maria, Bridgette and Anna Koupus became lost around 7:30 pm Monday night. They built a fire, called 911 and waited for rescuers. The searchers were able to use the GPS location from the 911 call to find the sisters. They were found in good health and escorted back to their vehicle without incident.
