Police in Iron River are asking for help in the investigation into the disappearance of Christopher Karl Regan.
The Iron River Police Department is following up on leads in the search for Regan with support from the FBI Detroit Evidence Response Team and Field Office.
There’s no confirmation of any evidence being discovered in the search area. Police say this is an open investigation.
The search this week comes more than 17 months after Regan was reported missing October 14th of 2014.
He was last seen in the Iron River area wearing a t-shirt and jeans.
His vehicle is a gray 2013 Hyundai Genesis 2 door coupe. It was found parked and locked at the MDOT park-and-ride four miles east of Iron River.
Iron River Police Chief Laura Frizzo says, “We have been following up on leads that we’ve received and tips received regarding the Chris Regan investigation and we are continuing to check into those leads and, at this time, we have not completed that part of the investigation. I would encourage anyone that has information to come forward and provide it to us at this time.”
