ISHPEMING – State Representative Sara Cambensy is back in the district visiting with constituents and today she and Representative Scott Dianda attended a special meeting with the Ishpeming City Council.
City officials were able to ask the representatives questions and were provided an update on what is happening in Lansing. Some of the issues discussed included revenue sharing and infrastructure spending.
“I think it’s important for people to see who I am and meet me and certainly for me to listen to what their concerns are to make sure that I’m bringing their issues back to Lansing and working on their message that they want to see me work on,” said Cambensy.
Cambensy says prevailing wage and continuing to push dark store legislation from Representative Kivela will be two priorities once legislation restarts next year. She’ll continue touring the district in the coming weeks.
