Marquette is hosting the third annual Mother’s Day Pop-up Flower shop at the Marquette Food Co-op.
You can stop in and pick up some flower arrangements for the special mothers in your life.
This year 50 percent of the flowers available for purchase are grown by Rock River Farmers.
The other 50 percent were bought from American and Canadian flower farms.
Shailah Bunts is the co-owner of Rock River Farm. She says, “With Jeff Heidtman and I both being flower famers, it just brings so much joy to our heart that we get to arrange the flowers that we grew for Mother’s Day. They were literally picked last night, we dug the tulips out of the ground, so flowers bring us joy and we think that they’ll bring everyone else joy too.”
Flower arrangements can be picked up at the Marquette Food Co-op Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
