IRON RIVER– Starting Monday, MDOT is spending about $2.9 million to mill, resurface and seal 3.9 miles of US-2 from North River Avenue to Bates-Amasa Road in the city of Iron River, Iron County. This project includes a three-year pavement materials and workmanship warranty.
The project will result in a smoother driving surface and increased safety and will extend the lifespan of the roadway.
The project is expected to be completed by Friday, Aug. 30, 2019
