Marquette County man seriously injured in rollover crash

ALGER COUNTY – Troopers from the Michigan State Police Negaunee Post are investigating a single vehicle car crash that happened early Sunday morning on M-94 near Rumley Road.

Troopers were dispatched by Alger 911 to the scene and discovered a 2001 Honda Accord in a ditch with the driver still inside.

Police are reporting the vehicle, driven by a 46-year-old Marquette County man, was traveling eastbound when he lost control of the vehicle, drove off the roadway and overturned. The driver suffered serious injury and was transported to UP Health Systems Marquette. Alcohol is believed to be factor in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
