Marquette County Sheriff gives phone app update and tips to be safe this holiday season

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WJMN)– Marquette County Sheriff Greg Zyburt says changes are coming for one of the phone apps they’ve utilized in the past.

They recently stopped using the app, ‘Mobile Patrol’ and will be starting a new one in the near future.

Zyburt spoke with Local 3’s Rebecca Bartelme about the app as well what people need to do to be safe during the holidays when it comes to things like shopping, scams and driving in the winter.
