PETOSKEY, Mich. (WLNS) — A portion of a trail along Lake Michigan has collapsed due to erosion from high water.
The Little Traverse Wheelway, is “falling into the lake as the wind continues and is very dangerous,” the Petoskey Parks and Recreation Department posted Monday on Facebook.
The barricades are at Magnus Park or East Park, hikers should use waterfront parks as starting points to head towards Harbor Springs or East Park to head towards Charlevoix.
