MSU’s Statewide Astronomy night at the Shiras Planetarium

MARQUETTE — The Shiras Planetarium is a satellite location for Michigan State University’s Statewide Astronomy night on Friday, April 12 beginning at 6 pm. The Shiras Planetarium is one of many locations around the state hosting events in conjunction with MSU.

This is a free event, open to all! The Planetarium will host an open house from 6 pm-7:30 pm with activities for all ages including making constellation greeting cards, playing astronomy themed board games, and more. 

At 7:30 pm there will be a star show, highlighting what is happening in the April night sky.
