If you’re looking to spend your weekend outside, the first annual “Frozen Tears and Broken Gears” snow bike race will be held this Saturday at Valley Spur Trail System.
Both the 15 k and the 30 k races will be on the Ski Trial at Valley Spur. The race starts at 9 am and people are encouraged to come out and watch even if they aren’t participating in the race.
David Lieble, the Vice President of the Munising Bay Travel Network said, “Events like these, I mean they obviously bring us all together to participate in something we all love. It gets people aware of what we are doing as an organization and just trying to promote our community.”
The organization is thinking the first time race will have about 30 participants from across the U.P. and northern Wisconsin.
