It was a historic day for the Diocese of Marquette, as three priests and two deacons were ordained.
Father Timothy Ferguson, is appointed Parochial Vicar (Associate Pastor) of St. Peter Cathedral, Marquette and the St. Mary Mission, Big Bay. Following his ordination as a priest, Father Ferguson will offer a Mass of Thanksgiving at St. Anthony Parish in Gwinn on Sunday, May 31 at 10:30 a.m. EDT. In addition, he will be covering the weekend Masses at Guardian Angels Parish in Crystal Falls on Saturday, June 6 at 4 p.m. CDT and on Sunday, June 7 at 9 a.m. CDT. He will also celebrate Masses of Thanksgiving at St. Dominic Parish in San Francisco on June 14 and St. Josaphat Parish in Detroit on June 21. In addition, he will offer Mass on the tenth anniversary of his father’s death at Holy Family Church in Saginaw on June 29.
Father Brandon Oman, is appointed Parochial Vicar (Associate Pastor) of St. Michael Parish, Marquette and Sacramental Minister of St. Christopher Parish, Marquette. After his ordination to the priesthood, Father Oman will celebrate his first Mass on Sunday, May 31 at 11 a.m. CDT at his home parish of St. Joseph Mission in Foster City. He will also celebrate other Masses of Thanksgiving on Sunday, June 7 at 10 a.m. CDT at St. Mary & St. Joseph Parish in Iron Mountain and on Saturday, June 13 at 4 p.m. EDT and Sunday, June 14 at 10:30 a.m. EDT at St. Anthony Parish in Gwinn. In addition, he will offer a Mass of Thanksgiving on Sunday, June 14 at 8:30 a.m. EDT at St. Joseph Mission in Northland.
Father Bradley Sjoquist, is appointed Parochial Vicar (Associate Pastor) of Holy Spirit Parish, Menominee and Resurrection Parish, Menominee. Following his ordination to the priesthood, Father Sjoquist will celebrate his first Masses of Thanksgiving at his home parish of St. Mary Queen of Peace in Kingsford on Saturday, May 30 at 4:30 p.m. CDT and on Sunday, May 31 at 8 and 10 a.m. CDT. He will also celebrate Masses of Thanksgiving at All Saints Parish in Gladstone on Saturday, June 13 at 4:30 p.m. EDT and Sunday, June 14 at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. EDT.
