MARQUETTE, MI – Theater students at Northern Michigan University are putting together the final touches on their next theatrical adaptation.
“Building Madness” is a play set in the 1930’s, surrounding workers at an architecture firm who get into some financial trouble. Although the play has a serious plot line, there is comedic effect to it as well.
“We worked with an amazing director who had a great vision for the show and, I think, was able to communicate that vision to us,” said Jason Parks, community cast member. “There are so many elements, I can’t pick just one. It is going to be a once in a lifetime experience and it’s the U.S. premier of the show so you’re definitely not going to want to miss it.”
Opening night is this Wednesday and the play runs until Saturday. Tickets are $15 for the general public, $10 for students.
