ISHPEMING – In honor of Earth day, Partridge Creek Farm celebrated their annual collarboration to promote a sustainable environment. Dozens of people turned out for a health fair, presentations and berry planting.
For the third year, the event was held at the Ishpeming Elks Lodge where there is a community garden available for people to plant their berries.
“We bring all of our collarborators together, who work together with us on sustainable agriculture in the U.P., healthy lifestyles, and just taking care of the kids.” said Dan Perkins, Director Partidge Creek Farms.
Partridge Farm is located in downtown Ishpeming, where they dedicate themselves to improving local access to fresh produce, building a healthy community, and promoting education on sustainable food systems.
