LANSING, Mich. – The next meeting of the Michigan Pipeline Safety Advisory Board (PSAB) has been scheduled for Monday, Feb. 26, in Lansing.

The meeting will be from 1-3:30 p.m. at the Ramada Lansing Hotel and Conference Center, Regency Ballroom, 7501 W. Saginaw Hwy, Lansing, 48917.

A draft agenda and Board Packet for the meeting can be found here.

The PSAB is co-chaired by Heidi Grether, director of the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, and Keith Creagh, director of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.

The Board created by Executive Order 2015-12, is charged with making recommendations or advising the State on pipeline issues. It also advises state agencies on matters related to pipeline routing, construction, operation, and maintenance, as well as ensuring public transparency. While the PSAB advises the state on matters concerning energy pipelines, it does not have decision-making authority and it does not control the contract administration.

Keep up on PSAB activities by signing up for its listserv.
