Police in Calumet are still searching for the man who went on a two-state crime spree last week that started in the U.P.

Isaac Laplander, a 36 year old Calumet man, is still at large. A warrant has been issued for Laplander, who is wanted for multiple crimes in Upper Michigan and Wisconsin.

Laplander did not show up for his probable cause hearing on Monday in Houghton County District Court. He is still on the run after posting bail last week for a breaking and entering at an auto parts store in Calumet. Police believe Laplander is also responsible for two car thefts – including a $40,000 Camaro – and at least two break-ins in Calumet, Hurley, Wisconsin and near Medford, Wisconsin.
