DICKINSON COUNTY — Troopers from the Michigan State Police, Iron Mountain Post, responded to a three-vehicle personal injury crash today at approximately 12:40p.m. on Hwy US-2 at Summit Rd, Norway Township, Dickinson County, Michigan.

The investigation determined that a vehicle, operated by Dennis Saint Vincent, a 65 year old Loretto man, entered onto Hwy US-2 from Summit Rd into the path of an eastbound vehicle, operated by Teddy Gurgall, and 84 year old Hermansville man. The driver of the eastbound vehicle was unable to avoid striking the Saint Vincent vehicle. The collission of the two vehicles sent Gurgall’s vehicle into a third stationary vehicle, operated by Nancy Raiche, a 66 year old Iron Mountain woman, stopped at Main St. and Hwy US-2.

Raiche was transported by North Alert EMS to Dickinson County Memorial Hospital, where she was treated and released. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash and it remains under investigation.
