UPDATE: Suspicious person reported near CLK School in Calumet located

CALUMET – Troopers from the Michigan State Police Calumet Post have located a suspicious person from last week.

Troopers are advising the person who was acting suspiciously near the Calumet Colosseum last Monday has been located and contacted. The original story appears below.


Police are searching for a suspicious person after he made inappropriate comments to a couple near the CLK School in Calumet. 

According to the Michigan State Police Calumet Post, officers responded to the Calumet Colosseum at around 2:30 Wednesday afternoon on a report of a suspicious person. It was reported that a white man in a tan colored Chevrolet pickup approached a couple, made inappropriate comments and then drove away.

The nature of the comments made were not specified in a news release from the post.

The couple described the man as in his 20’s with long blond hair and wearing a dark hat. The truck was reported to be a tan extended cab four-wheel-drive Chevrolet pickup. The truck’s license plate was covered with snow, according to the couple.

The MSP asks that if you have any information on the vehicle or person, contact their post or your local law enforcement agency.
