For the North Central Jets basketball team, East Lansing is probably starting to feel a little like home.
For the third straight year the jets will be taking the floor at the Breslin Center for the state semifinals.
The jets defeated Hillman Tuesday night to advance in the playoffs and now focus their attention to Southfield Christian, a team that is loaded with talent.
Adam Mercier, the North Central Jets head coach said, “Well they’re extremely athletic. You know, they’re fast, explosive. They’ll put five guys on the floor the start of the game that will all be playing college basketball, So, typically you don’t see that in a class D team. They’ll defend hard and take a lot of chances and try to get in transition. So, I think us have the advantage of being there before might help us. They only have one player on their roster that has played at the Breslin. I think are big game experience might play a factor into the game tomorrow night. And we just got to roll with the ball and have fun. Play hard, play aggressive and play north central basketball.”
Tip off for the game between the Jets and the Eagles is set for 6:00 pm est, Wednesday night at the Breslin Center.
