Menominee’s Pedersen Lands with Atlanta Falcons

Sports
Menominee’s Jacob Pedersen finished his Wisconsin Badger career with the most touchdown receptions in school history by a tight end.

Pedersen signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted rookie free agent and looks to represent the U.P. in the NFL.

“I love Menominee, I love being from the Upper Peninsula. I’m proud of it. It’d mean a lot to me. Every kid grows up wanting to be a NFL, baseball, any pro sport. You usually grow up hoping to get to that level. So just to be able to make it to that level would be definitely something special. But I have plans on hopefully playing for at least a while and having a successful career.”

Pedersen begins training camp with the Falcons on July 25th.
