MTU Blue Line Club hosts first luncheon of the season before home opener

HOUGHTON, MI– The Michigan Tech Blue Line Club is hosting its first luncheon of the season on Friday (Oct. 12) at noon in the ‘old’ Blue Line Room outside of University Images. The event is open to the public and costs $10 per person.

Tech head coach Joe Shawhan and Minnesota Duluth head coach Scott Sandelin will both be on hand to talk about the nonconference series.

Please RSVP to blueline@mtu.edu by Thursday (Oct. 11) at noon to reserve your seat. Sub sandwiches (turkey, ham, or veggie), wild rice soup, and dessert will be served.

The Huskies open the season against the Bulldogs on Hall of Fame Weekend. The puck drops at 7:37 p.m. Friday and 7:07 p.m. Saturday at the John MacInnes Student Ice Arena.
