Pedersen Ready for Falcons Training Camp

Sports
NFL training camps kick off this week. Menominee’s Jacob Pedersen begins camp with the Atlanta Falcons this Friday. Pedersen signed with Atlanta as an undrafted rookie free agent and likes his chances to make the team.

“I think I have a good chance. There’s five tight ends, they keep four, three on the active roster, one on practice squad, so there’s a lot of great tight ends there,” said Pedersen.

“They’re all great guys, but I have confidence in my abilities, specifically my work ethic, my knowledge of the offense, all that kind of stuff. So I feel like I pick up a lot of stuff well and I think it’ll help me quite a bit when we get into training camp.”

Pedersen is one of three U.P. natives in an NFL training camp this summer. Escanaba’s Jace Daniels will be in camp with the Buccaneers while Sault Ste. Marie’s Chad Anderson is headed to Colts camp.
