LOCAL 3 THURSDAY’S WEATHER FORECAST 10/4/2018

Tonight, cloudy with rain and thunderstorms. Some storms could be strong to severe with hail, damaging winds and possible tornadoes. Windy conditions outside of the thunderstorms, especially during the overnight. South to southwest wind turning west to northwest 20 to 30 MPH with gusts 40 to 50 MPH or higher. The highest wind gusts during the overnight will be in the Keweenaw Peninsula. 

Thursday, sunny. Windy in the morning. High temperatures will be in the 40s and 50s. Northwest wind 25 to 35 MPH with gusts 45 to 55 MPH or higher. The highest wind gusts during the morning will be in the Keweenaw Peninsula and along Lake Superior east of Marquette. 

Thursday night, increasing clouds with a chance of rain. Snow or a rain/snow mix is possible away from the shorelines of the Great Lakes, especially in the higher terrain and inland areas west of Marquette. Low temperatures will be around 30 or into the 30s, around 40 near the shorelines of the Great Lakes. East to southeast wind 5 to 15 MPH. 

Friday, cloudy with rain. Snow or a rain/snow mix is possible for the higher terrain and inland areas west of Marquette in the early morning. High temperatures will be in the 40s and 50s. East to southeast wind 10 to 15 MPH.

Friday night, cloudy with a chance of rain. Low temperatures will be around 40 or into the 40s. Southeast wind 5 to 15 MPH. 

Saturday, mostly cloudy with a chance of rain. High temperatures will be around 50 or into the 50s. North to northwest wind 5 to 15 MPH. 

Saturday night, some clearing. Low temperatures will be in the 30s to around 40, around 40 or into the 40s near the shorelines of the Great Lakes. North to northeast wind 5 to 15 MPH. 

Sunday, partly sunny. High temperatures will be in the 40s and 50s. East to northeast wind 5 to 15 MPH. 

Sunday night, increasing clouds with a chance of rain. Low temperatures will be around 40 or into the 40s. East to northeast wind 5 to 15 MPH. 

Monday, mostly cloudy with a chance of rain. High temperatures will be in the 50s and 60s. East to southeast wind 10 to 20 MPH. 

Monday night, mostly cloudy with a chance of rain. Low temperatures will be in the 40s and 50s. East to southeast wind 10 to 20 MPH. 

Tuesday, mostly cloudy with a chance of rain. High temperatures will be around 60 or into the 60s. East to southeast wind 10 to 20 MPH.
